From My Ritual to Yours.
After 40, I entered a season I could no longer ignore. As my body changed, I began noticing changes in my hair. I experienced periods of increased shedding, and my hair had become dry, brittle, and dull. I was devastated.
In searching for answers, I found myself returning to something familiar: the natural oils my aunt had used to care for my hair when I was a little girl. Inspired by those memories and the Ayurvedic tradition of scalp massage, I began creating my own botanical hair oil.
But something unexpected happened along the way.
Warming the oil between my fingertips. Massaging my scalp. Slowing my breath. Those quiet moments became about more than my hair. What began as care for my hair became care for myself.
When I began sharing the ritual with other women, they understood immediately. So many of us begin by looking for ways to care for our hair, only to discover something deeper. In creating space to nourish our hair, we are also creating space to pour back into ourselves.
That became the heart of Revel & Restore.
